How to Use StreamTV Out of your Home

When a user accesses the application from any IP address other than the one associated with their service address, the user is considered "out-of-home." In this situation, users will not be able to stream content that requires the user to be in home. 

The app experience is exactly the same as in home except for the following:

  • By default, users see a "You are not at home" message in place of the base media player (TV platforms only) 
  • Picture in picture (TV platforms only) does not appear for in home only content
  • The play option does not appear for content for in home only content
