Giving Local Request Template
Buckeye Broadband’s philanthropic strategy focuses on four areas of giving, including technology, education, community, and volunteerism. Common requests for support are for events, fundraising campaigns, educational programs, and a number of other community activities and organizations.
As a general rule, Buckeye Broadband considers requests from organizations that have received 501(c) (3) tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and which are not classified as private foundations under the Internal Revenue Code 509.

To be considered, you must complete the online application.
Giving decisions are made by Buckeye Broadband’s Contribution Committee at quarterly meetings. Once all required information is complete, the request will be considered at the next meeting following your submission. Requests must be received in the calendar quarter prior to the funding event. Please note that organizations granted funding will not be considered for any additional requests until the following calendar year.
Applications without a completed application may not be considered until all material is provided. Additional information may be requested, such as past, current and future financial or budgetary information, donor information, or other pertinent material. All committee reviews and decisions will be sent by email.
All contributions are subject to a post-program review and/or evaluation, at the discretion of Buckeye Broadband. Questions can be directed to Kim Finch, Manager of Community Relations at email@example.com.
