The email service provider that manages Buckeye Broadband's email domain is continuing to work on restoring service as quickly as possible. While an ETA has not yet been provided, their teams are currently testing the platform to ensure it can be brought back online securely.

UPDATE: 1/12/2022
At approximately 3:30 AM on 1/12/2022, Buckeye Broadband began receiving reports of an issue affecting its customer’s ability to access @bex.net email services.
After investigating these reports, it was discovered that the service provider that manages Buckeye Broadband’s email domain was the victim of a ransomware attack. The email service provider has reported that customer data has not been compromised.
They are working diligently with security experts and federal authorities to restore access to email services as quickly as possible.
